In Remembrance

InVision Hospitality wishes to express our deepest condolences to the Royal Family and the Thai people at the passing of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej.  This is a great loss to the country, and we share with our Thai friends and colleagues the pain and deep sadness.  His Majesty ruled the Kingdom for 70 years with grace and compassion – a bright light and inspiration for us all.

At each hotel property we manage we are making plans to ensure our guests enjoy their holidays while in our care.  The country has begun the official 30-day mourning period but shops, entertainment venues and restaurants remain open during this timeframe.  The natural beauty and culture of the country remains available and open to tourists, and we have been reassured by our properties and local hospitality partners that tour services have operated today without any problems.

We advise our guests to show the utmost respect and take special care in the vicinity of the Grand Palace in Bangkok where citizens will be visiting to pay their respects in the coming days.  Thais across the country will be wearing black, grey or white during the 30-day mourning period, and while it is not required for tourists, we do advise that all travellers to Thailand dress and act accordingly while visiting the Kingdom.
